Hobbit Star Reveals DVT Worries

In an exclusive interview on Sportsvibe TV, actor James Nesbitt has spoken about his fears of suffering from suspected deep vein thrombosis (DVT), the result of his long-haul commute from Britain to New Zealand, where he is shooting Peter Jackson's 'The Hobbit'. Nesbitt, who plays Bofur in the making of J. R. R. Tolkien's classic prequel to the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy was playing at the Leuka Mini Masters charity golf day, where he revealed he was suffering with unusual pains in his foot. "I have an injury in my foot. People seem to think it's deep vein thrombosis, but what a way to go. So I may have to go and get a scan before I go back to New Zealand. " Nesbitt made light of the situation though, saying: "It's very bad, it's all swollen up, [former Manchester United star] Ray Wilkins felt it, which is reason enough for me having it. ...
