ASICS Biomechanics Academy - Connecting medicine and sports

Leading performance footwear and apparel manufacturer, ASICS, in conjunction with highly respected podiatrist Clifton Bradeley, is offering the medical profession a unique insight into biomechanics and sports footwear technology at a series of monthly one-day courses hosted by the ASICS Biomechanics Academy at selected venues around the country. ASICS’ advanced footwear technologies are specifically related to biomechanics to enhance natural movement and reduce the risk of injury. At the one-day courses, the ASICS Biomechanics Academy offers medical professionals, including podiatrists, osteopaths and physiotherapists, an insight into the technical aspects, design and development of sports shoes and how these relate to injury prevention. Clifton Bradeley has been a podiatrist for over 18 years and offers a wealth of knowledge, both from his professional and sports careers, as an ex-Great Britain and England International Athlete. Clifton Bradeley is working alongside leading ASICS technical representative Liz Austen at the courses.
